JD04 – Daylight
For the first time this year I managed to run at a day light. What a difference this makes! The roads and trails around us are frozen and the winter scenery starts looking quite as it should by now.
This is whom I met during the 7.3 km today: one smiling female runner with a dog, 2 cows outside the stables, 4 walking (retired?) couples.

I bought a pair of La Sportiva Raptors – it was a bargain sale, just like all my running shoes :-). And they are great! Very very good on mud, snow, even ice… never had shoes like that before.
Daylight makes all the difference. Roll on spring!

Yes, isn’t it? It was just that one day – tomorrow I am back in the darkness (or dawn if I am late :-)).
