April Runs

… hikes, kickbikes, skis and more

Janathon Day 6

You know the feeling when after 3 miles, right before you should turn to your street, you suddenly totally irrationally turn right instead of left to run a bit further? And how you regret it 100 yards later? Well, welcome to my evening then. You see, my body really does not like the 24/7 ‘ready for workout’ feeling so I should not push it. But I did.

“Where do we go from here? This isn’t where we intended to be” was on my mind – partially because I was listening to Evita dying in my iPod. I ran to a dark ugly place under the A4 highway. As usually, the only way to get out of there was by running further. And so I did. Oh by the way, it looked like this – but much darker:

All together this end-of-my-working-week running trip took 7.4 km. And it was not windy! Need to check other Janathoner’s if the weather on their end of the sea has improved.
